Each member of the Scout Group pays a subscription of £25 per term (similar to the school term) to the section they belong to.  It should be noted that this money collected by each section only goes towards:

• Stationery, badges and other small items and costs of running that individual section
• Annual capitation fees that the Scout Group must pay to the Scout Association together with a smaller payment to the local Scout District (Llangollen) and Scout Area (Clwyd) - this year's payment was over £2000

 None of the money collected through subscriptions goes to the Group to cover the substantial general running expenses.  As stated above the subscriptions are due at the beginning of each term and must be paid within three weeks from the start of the term.
