It should be remembered that the weekly subscription paid by each member to the individual section (ie Beaver, Cub Scout, Scout or Explorer Scout) only covers the weekly cost of running that section together with the annual 'capitation' fee sent to the Scout Association.  None of this money collected by each section goes to the Group.

The Group Executive has established that the Group (parents, etc) needs to raise approximately £3000 every year to cover the:

• Maintenance of the headquarter building
• Payment of all bills
• Training of adults
• Replacement (annually) of equipment
