We are a thriving Scout Group established in 1971 currently with a memberhip of 75 Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts, Scouts, Explorer Scouts and Leaders. The Group was at first sponsored by Zion English Baptist Church up until 1986 and is very thankful to all the support given to local scouting in those early years particularly in allowing the use of its schoolroom. Since 1986 it has been an 'Open' Scout Group. After five years of very hard work by many people the Group moved into its specially built Scout Headquarters located at Bryn y Barcut. The building was officially opened in 1991 by Sir William Gladstone former Chief Scout. Since then the Group has grown continually.
